If I could give zero stars I would. I used Deanne in 2022 to file our taxes. My current place of employment w-2 was left out of reporting which was problem number one. That issue was discovered in 2023 when the IRS sent me a letter notifying me of under reporting. The problem was left to my blame stating that I did not supply this w-2, I accepted this as my fault since I could not prove that I had given her the information since it was electronic and I shared the information off of my personal device in person. Flash forward to now 2026 and I get a letter in the mail from the state claiming I was overpaid and owe $900. After further review from the state tax department it was clear a mistake had been made. Deanne did not claim ownership of this mistake or offer much assistance in fixing it. Instead, she doubled down and stated that she did not make any mistakes and doesn’t know how to amend my return since there was no mistake made. UNTRUE. So I sought help from a new accountant who in fact did find that she filed incorrectly and I actually was underpaid by the state and am actually owed more money. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the stress.

Was consistently one paystub behind what I was actually getting paid— I would receive the paystub for my previous check each time I got a new check. That was annoying, but not the end of the world. The real problem came when I quit. It’s been over a year and I still don’t have my final check’s paystub.
She was also totally unreliable when it came to answering any of my emails or helping me find the best tax withholdings to take from my check— I occasionally owed more in taxes than I earned, and not because that’s what I wanted/needed.

Deanne has helped me and my family with our taxes for the last few years. She assisted with all my new business questions, helped with categorizing and filing write offs and receipts. She is very knowledgeable and quick when we go to file.
