They never filed our taxes, never told us they didnt file them, and refuse to accept the responsibility of fault.They believe that a 50 gift card, for over 425 worth of payment, is more then kind. Joseph Castellano felt that his company did as much as was expected of him and refuses to accept they didnt.We called today, because over the weekend we went to the IRS site to track our federal refund, and it said it wasnt found.So we called Castellano CPA. The woman who answered said they called and left a voicemail on our phone on April 1st saying we needed to come sign our completed documents. After asking to sign via Docusign due to our work schedules, they agreed. We signed and sent back the completed documents on April 8th.Then they said, oh its because you never paid. We provided them our credit card information also on April8th. Our card was charged that day.We were told our taxes would be filed that day.They didnt file them, and never once called to tell us that they didnt file them.Our taxes are now late and all that the owner thinks is a sufficient apology is an offer for a 50 gift card, he refuses to even accept that his company made a pretty big mistake on someone else's behalf.
