IRS Extends Tax Deadline For Majority of California Taxpayers

The IRS has extended tax deadlines for the majority of California taxpayers until November 16, 2023. This extension is a result of the natural disasters that occurred last winter, which initially pushed the due dates to today, October 16. Now, individuals and businesses in most California counties have an additional month to file their 2022 returns and settle any tax obligations.

Notably, Lassen, Modoc, and Shasta counties are NOT INCLUDED in this extension.
