Effective in 2020, the age at which RMDs must begin is 72. (SECURE Act, included in the Appropriations Act of 2020) However, RMDs for 2020 were waived by the CARES Act.

Effective in 2023, the RMD age increases to age 73 and then is 75 in 2033. See chapter 4.15 for details.
