I have worked with Sharon for years. For the 2022 tax year she made mistakes that cost me a few thousand dollars on my return. She misapplied a mortgage from another client and had me owning a house that I did not own! Against my better judgement and with the recommendation of a trusted colleague, I allowed her to do my papers for the 2023 season. To my dismay, my state tax department wanted additional information. I sent the info to Sharon, and she never responded to them. Eventually it cost me $951.24. I have been filing tax returns since the age of 18, and I have never had to pay anything until now. When asked, she said that she wouldn't refund any of my money. Between her fee, the taxes, and the late penalty, I was out about $1500 last year!! Sharon has lost a valued, faithful customer; and she doesn’t even seem to care!
