One of the absolute worst interactions I've had in my 6 years of working in the mortgage industry. It is a shame I cant give her -5 stars. She was rude, condescending, called me incompetent because she was slurring her words and talking to me with an attitude from the moment I answered the phone. Keep in mind SHE called me. I asked for her name and she told me she was the tax collector and that's all I needed to know (thankful for caller ID's where all her info popped up.) I am surprised this person even has a job. What an unpleasant interaction. I hope to never have to deal with this person or township again, and if you have to I feel for you!

If you are in Wayne Township Schuylkill County I feel bad for you. Dealing with this person is the absolute worst thing in the entire world. Disrespectful doesn’t listen apparently can’t spell names correctly whatsoever and makes it everyone else’s problem. Get ready for multiple bills sent to your address in different names, Then when you try to respond and take care of 1 she will send the others to collections haha! I’m not the first this happened to and won’t be the last as long as she’s doing taxes… Ridiculous

It is a shame I am forced to credit her with a star on this app! She is the most unprofessional, biased, cheat I have ever dealt with. She has failed to correct a family member’s taxes with an incorrect name for 3 years. Every year she is called and says she needs a drivers license for proof. Then, when she is reminded that the name won’t match the license, she resorts to insults of stupidity and uselessness. The family member has had to fight through Berkheimer every year to be exonerated from the charges so they can put their hard earned money to supporting their family, which is all they want. It is a sad reality the county should take care of.

Anytime Ive ever had to call Joan, I sigh, postpone and try to get my husband to do it. Never had a decent conversation with her. Shes very rude and talks to people like we are bothering her. If you hate your job- do us all a favor and quit !!
