During my years as a bookkeeper, accountant, and tax preparer, I worked for a variety of companies, across several different industries. I started my career as a bookkeeper for the first 8 years. Then I transitioned to Senior General Accountant, Finally I became a Senior Cost Accountant 5 years ago.

As a bookkeeper, I was responsible for the day-to-day activities of the following: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Journal Entries, and Month-End Reporting.
While as a Senior General Accountant, I worked with Fixed Assets, Deferred Revenue, Account Reconciliations, Inventory, Month End Closings, worked on multiple companies at once, and Produced Financial Statements.

Finally as a Senior Cost Accountant, I reconciled the Profit and Loss Statement, Reclassed Items that were not Properly Posted, Budgeting, Month End Closing, and Produce Financial Statements.
Thus, I handled everything, and became quite adept in Accounting and Bookkeeping over the years. And our auditors couldn’t be more pleased at year-end.

When the opportunity arose, I started Dave's Bookkeeping and Tax Services in order to offer my expertise in providing a back office where you are assured the job will be done accurately. I also became quite adept with technology, and saw that I could work for anyone, anywhere.

With my experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Accountant, I can take your financial information remotely, enter it in an accounting program, produce financial statements, handle payroll, reporting, etc.
