She did our taxes before my wife and I were married but said she could not file our taxes jointly after the fact. We are a lesbian couple and since she found out we were married, she has lost interest in preparing our taxes and we have had to chase her down. Finally, after multiple phone calls from my father-in-law (who referred us in the first place) she did this years taxes for us but they have yet to arrive and she has not returned any of our phone calls. It has been 3 months and this is the most unprofessional experience we've both had. I hate to realize that there are still people in our day and age, in such a diverse little city, that have prejudices against homosexual couples. I tried tremendously not come to this conclusion but there seems to be no other possible explanation for her approach towards the situation.
