I don't do my own dental work or medical care either! I also think taxes are complex enough to warrant a professional who keeps up with the latest tax rules and options to save money legally. I first used Shook after my mother died because Mom did, so it was simpler for her taxes. But after that, I've stayed with them because they truly are honest, diligent and efficient professionals who take care of my tax needs while being friendly while they do so. Thanks!

I have had the great pleasure of working with Shook Taxes since 2002. I moved back to Tennessee in 2004, and there's no way I would go anywhere else. I was referred by a coworker after telling her I had been setting up a payment plan in order to pay my taxes to the IRS. I called Trish, who reviewed our return, corrected it, then took the time to teach me how to organize my tax information. I still use my little purple folder with my notes on it. It takes very little time to prepare now. Good advice and service is hard to find. Trish really knows her clients and remembers lots of information and I trust her completely. She's like family really. I can and have called during the year for advice. Calls are returned promptly and staff are unfailingly kind and helpful. Trish protects her clients and teaches them every year on what to do for the next year. We are just so blessed to be clients of Shook and Company.
