RUN, Don't walk. DO NOT use for your tax preparation needs. Michael Filippone does not return phone calls or reply to text. He was a PAID preparer for my Mother's 2024 tax return, he sent her copies of what was supposedly filed electronically. In January 2026 she received a letter from the IRS. After HOURS on the phone with the IRS it was determined he never electronically filed the tax return!!! She will mail hard copies as requested by the IRS, but this is totally inappropriate!!! He was paid for services upfront. Never again would we use him or recommend him.

I used to use Mike for YEARS, then I started my own business. Mike never even filed for my extension. Because on top of paying a new accountant $500.00 for business and personal taxes (because he had to try to get all my papers that Mike never sent back to me), then I had to pay new accountant another $150.00 because the IRS rejected my filing as an S CORP because Mike never filed that either, and my new accountant had to do something else. So now I after I paid the IRS $738.00 in taxes, I just got stating I owe the IRS $135.00 failure to file penalty, and $33.21 failure to pay penalty. This was back in 2012. Why is he still selling himself as an accountant? Please use a CPA which is regulated and he would have to provide answers. Pay the extra money for a licensed CPA - he was using another CPA stamp on the returns he did file. this should be illegal

Mike Filippone has no problem taking your money but is nowhere to be found when you have a question. Several calls over a 6+ week period, seeking a simple explanation as to why my state refund was less than he said it would be. Completely unprofessional.
