I am a African American and have been coming to this place fo years , i started out with Gerry who left and went to Arizona , then i picked up Seth W. one the best , i would not think of going anywhere else, one of the nicest kindness person you would want to know , I am a Registered Nurse , and i live in N.C , i come up to N.Y to have Seth do my taxes, over 15 years now , Thank you Seth see you soon ,Geraldine Blake

Seth Wapnick was a referral from a coworker of mines so I decided to seek his services. I am a 35 year old single educated African American Registered Nurse. My coworker is not African American. As soon as I walked into his office, I was racially profiled. I recall seeing a Trump thermal which should have made me flee right away. Mr. Wapnick began asking me questions that seemed harmless at first, then he began to ask intrusive questions as though it was related to my taxes such as when I received my bachelors degree, I answered him 2020 and continued to ask the same question. He couldnt believe that I received it this year in 2020 because I had made so much money in 2019 as a registered nurse. This had nothing to do with the preparation of my taxes. He then thought that it would be appropriate to make the following statement, let me guess your single and you go the work, come home, take a few classes here and there, your underpaid! He then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay the IRS 4,000. I told him that number was absurd and that I have never had to pay the IRS that amount of money. I asked him to delete my file and I went to a tax prepared that has the same color skin as me. It all worked out. I am writing this review because this has to stop. I am tired of being profiled for the beautiful color of my skin. This is a fat Caucasian man Sitting behind the desk messiest office Ive ever seen in my life speaking aggressively to me because of the color of my skin. I felt so uncomfortable In that moment I just wanted to run. I called my friend and told her everything. She will not be using his services anymore either. If you are black, DO NOT COME TO THIS TAX PLACE. Seth Wapnick is a white supremacist! I wish I could give zero stars but it wont let me.
