Ray Scott has been preparing my tax returns over 15 years, and I have referred at least a dozen new clients to him, who have in turn referred even more. This year, he prepared my taxes, which takes about 5 minutes, charged me 20 more than last year and told me that he had filed a request for an Installment Agreement but, in fact, he did not. When I got a demand for payment, I called Ray and left a message to that extent. I have left two messages since, and he will not even return my calls. I had to deal with the IRS on my own, who confirmed that in fact he had not filed an Installment Request on my behalf. He not only charged me 20 more for what takes him less than 5 minutes to prepare, he will not even accept responsibility for making a mistake.
