This review is for Melisha Daly from the Brooklyn Park Jackson Hewitt office.
I reached out to Jackson Hewitt on March 28th 2023 and they referred me to Melisha Daly from the Jackson Hewitt Brooklyn Park office. I called Melisha on March 28th 2023 about doing my taxes. She informed me that she would have NO problem finishing my taxes by April 18th.
So I emailed her all my supporting documents for all my taxes on March 29th.
Getting busy with work, tax day came up and then realized I didn't hear from Melisha at all. I emailed her and said that I was going to file an extension and confirmed with her what I needed to do, she did reply stating I was sending the right form to the right address to file the extension.Not once saying that she would take care of it for me, never once apologizing that she didn't get them done when she promised, or even giving me an explanation on why they were not done. Earlier she said she couldn't find my email from March 29th, which is troubling when an email with all your sensitive tax information get lost! I told her that I checked my side and it went through just fine.I resent the emails again though
Fast forward to early last week when I reached out again asking how the taxes were coming. She responded "I am not at work today call me between noon and 5:00 tomorrow and I'll look and see where we are at” So I called her within the window of time she provided and she never answered her phone, and her voicemail was full. So I texted her to please give me a call. She never did. She finally texted me back on Friday April 28th"I will check as soon as I get to my desk I'm heading to work now. I'll be in touch soon" It is now Monday May 1st 2023 and she still hasn’t contacted me. Maybe she didn’t know how to do my taxes
I am not one for writing negative reviews but when I get ghosted,I cannot take that kind of disrespect. So do what you would like with this information. I would recommend NO ONE EVER USES Melisha Daly for their taxes
