If you are a small business owner be very careful of anything Gary tells you in regard to any write offs he isn't very knowledgeable in his profession and isn't up to date on any annual new tax laws!

Mr. Semmel has given me wrong advice for more than 5 years. After seeking a second opinion I found out how inaccurate Mr. Semmel is in his knowledge of a small business and home child care businesses. He was unable to provde accurate tax laws that support his advise. He wasn't very supportive when I asked for answers which made me seek a second and third opinion. He also was not paying into Social Security, FICA, State Tax...etc., when filing my taxes. I believe his practices are inaccurate and unfair since he won't be liable to pay the difference. It is imporatant to trust your tax preparer. You want them knowledgeable and updated on the changes of laws. But most importantly you want him to be upfront and have the ability to explain his decisions, and anwer my questions with accurancy and be able to follow up his answers with tax laws. He has not proven to me that he is trustworthy, accurate or educated.
