Don Bullis was my tax preparer for a few years. Emailed, texted, all the information he asked for. He was known as reputable until 2022. As usual gave him my W2s, and everything sent to me. As usual he needed my current property tax statement, proof it was included in mortgage and so so many documents that I kept sending over and over that he already has. As being my accountant for many years we talked and he said he finally has everything needed, which he always had. My federal refund was supposed to be over 2 grand. Received the exact amount EXCEPT 2 THOUSAND LESS. I contacted him and he as usual asked for the same documents provided was going to check on it, easy homestead fix. Months to by then I received a letter he is retiring and that's it. Never responded, never corrected anything and after he received his $400.00 fee. Scammer, and beware not to email so MUCH information to people you trust. They get you believing for few years then your scammed.
