She can get two stars for being prompt with her responses to taxes. For both years of doing my taxes, she had to file an extension for both times, and as of last year, I didn't even know that my tax was filed until almost end of May.
This year, I got married to my husband, who has been a royal customer with her for a while. We submitted "our" paperwork to her 3 months ago telling her that we are married and want to file jointly, she proceeded to "file for my husband" separately, and filed an extension on my tax return, without explaining why or what she's doing this for. I am not a tax expert, but without explanation and doing it without the consent of both my husband and I are extremely unprofessional.
This "prolonged service" has also not been quoted, and we are in the dark about exactly how much this will cost, while I got charged last year for $150, I can only imagine how much more I'll be paying for this extended services this year.
This was in regard for Tax year 2024. It was drafted on 4/15/2025, and now posted because we didn’t want to risk upsetting her.
