I just want to thank you Frances. And I am more than happy to give a review.I came to Frances with over 40,000 in tax debt and 5 years of unfiled taxes. The IRS was threatening to place a lien on my property and I was getting certified mail from them every week. The situation was dire. I was scared every time I saw the mail man. A big firm I spoke to wanted 15,000 to start working on an Offer in Compromise. Frances sent me a questionnaire link and walked me through it on the phone. Within the hour, she determined that an Offer in Compromise was not the best way to go given my financial situation. She helped me with filing all my delinquent returns and got the IRS to place me on Currently not collectible status. The threatening letters stopped, there is no lien on my property and I have the peace of mind to rebuild my life and revisit the debt when I am in a better position.Thank you for telling me the truth and holding me accountable while doing a good job. My ex-wife owned a business while we lived together and filed our taxes jointly. I got a letter from the IRS 2 years after our divorce claiming I owe 32,000 in back taxes due to under reported income from the business. A friend introduced me to Frances. She immediately sent me an email link and had me provide some information in a questionnaire.The same day, Frances got back to me and advised that I should qualify for Innocent Spouse relief. She filed the form on my behalf and explained what the process would be. It went exactly as expected. The IRS contacted my ex-wife and she did agree that I could not have known about the under reported income since I was not involved in her business in any way. It has taken some time, but the IRS finally determined that I did not owe the liability. I was pleased with the way Frances explained everything to me: the process, what to expect, timing, my role, what documents I needed to produce. Everything went well because it was well coordinated. At the end I got the results I wanted.
