Incredibly unprofessional, lazy, and unresponsive. Unbelievable he is still in business. If you want to pay late penalties and pay someone to do nothing but waste your time, he’s your guy.

I am extremely disappointed in Monte's unprofessional behavior. I hired him to do my 2024 taxes after Kay retired. She always did a great job getting my taxes done on time. Monte did not complete my taxes by the April 15th deadline. He stopped taking my calls and did not ever return my voicemail messages. My son and daughter started calling and emailing Monte and he did not respond. I do not know how someone so unresponsive can stay in business. To avoid late penalties, we hired Lisa Holden with Holden Accounting Services. She completed my taxes in two weeks and did a fantastic job. Please contact Lisa for your Accounting needs. Do not bother contacting Monte. He may answer your calls at the beginning, but after you miss the tax deadline, he may ghost you too.

Monte was given my dads taxes to do for 2024 from Kay Schmidt who retired. The experiece was terrible. Would give him less than ZERO if I could. He filed extension after extension when he wouldn't get them done. After 6 months with it now down to October and no more extensions available. Monte never returned our calls, emails etc. The bottom line is Monte Dibben was horrible as a tax/business person. Find anyone else!!! We took the taxes away from Monte and gave them to Lisa Holden at Holden Accounting Services who did the taxes in less than 2 weeks. Holden Accounting was excellent.

If we could give a no star review we would. Monte was hired to do our fathers taxes after Kay retired. Kay always did a fantastic job getting dad's taxes completed. Monte did not get his taxes done by the April 15th deadline. He stopped taking our fathers calls, so my brother, who went to school with Monte, and I started calling, leaving messages and emailing him. He never responded. He did not have the courtesy to let us know he did not plan to get dad's taxes done and we were trying to avoid a late penalty. We had other people contact Monte to confirm we had the correct phone number and email address. He responded to those people and promised he would contact our dad. He never did. We would recommend you find someone more reliable. We got in touch with Lisa Holden with Holden Accounting Services in Clay Center, Ks. She provided 5 Star service!!
