Do not, under any circumstances, hire John McClafferty to do your taxes. I hired him in November 2021 and gave him everything he asked for and sent multiple emails and text messages to follow up with him and never received responses. He communicated through my employer who knew him personally to tell me he'd filed an extension for me - without ever speaking with me about it. Then when I went to follow up on the status of my taxes and after sending him more than twenty text messages and multiple emails he refused to communicate with me. He finally called me and left a voicemail and sent me a text message apologizing and said he'd take care of my taxes by the end of the weekend this is now in June 2022 and wouldn't charge me for the work he did. Except he never finished the work. I gave him a week before I hired someone else to do my taxes and managed to get it done in less than two weeks. Turns out John never filed an extension and now I have more than 1,000 in penalty fees. He does not communicate, does not keep his word, and you'll have a mess to clean up if you hire him.

I don't know what I'd do without the expert knowledge and support I get from John Mcclafferty. It is the one area of my business that I don't have to worry about.
