Urvik moved to the United States when he was 12 years old. He lived in both Michigan and Ohio before his family moved to Savannah. Even at an early age, Urvik's mathematical and analytical skills made him stand out.

He was awarded “man of the month in accounting” at age 16. He knew that he wanted to go to college to become an accountant. In May of 2018, Urvik completed his Master of Accounting with specialization in Taxation from Georgia Southern University.

While in college, Urvik worked at Kroger's corporate division and gained management and accounting experience. He then decided to work at Savannah State University as an accounting professional and as a tax assistant for a local CPA. His work ethic, eagerness to put down roots and engaging personality has earned him a rich banquet of friends. Urvik enjoys spending time with family and mingling in the Savannah scene. As an independent business owner himself, Urvik can offer each small business owner a shared perspective yet a fresh energy and a zeal for the accounting profession.
