First of all, this is all my fault for not being a CPA and putting myself in a financial bind where my return is very important to me. It's my fault for having to give control and responsibility to someone else who claims to be a professional by paying them to do my taxes for me.First off, I go on TurboTax like I always do and its like youll get a return of 1,465. Im like man I thought Id get more because I just started working for myself. Let me try this CPA.I talk to her and I explain Im in a bad financial spot because I started a new career, can you take the fee 250 out of my return. Shes like of course! TurboTax is like half of that by the wayShes like ok send me your deductions. Im like shouldnt you tell me everything I might be missing??? I dont know whats deductible or not. Isn't that your job. Shes like, well if you think it might be a deductible expense, write it down. So I basically do her job by creating an excel sheet of everything for her.. This lady just forgot to file my taxes. Im waiting like 3 weeks... I call and ask the status of my return shes like oh Im sorry it looks like it didnt get filed yet. I'm like THAT'S AWESOME. She says she'll file them right away. So then 3 days later she calls me back and is like, ok so Im calling to schedule your appointment in a few months to get your LLC paperwork done for your business. So shes only calling me to get more businessmoney from me. Oh and shes like, and we need that 250 processing fee to file your taxes. In my head Im like WTF, but I just explain I dont have it and that someone there told me you could take it from my return. After like 20 minutes of begging, shes like ok we can take half now and half when you get your return. I'm like gee thanks, how thoughtful of you. I tell her I'll figure it out and call her when I have 125 I call Thursday and ask if I can just cancel everything so I can do this all on my own. The secretary tells that the CPA has already done all this work so it wouldn't be right. Even though I did all the work I was trying to pay her to help me with I call back and give her 125 on Friday. SHE STILL DOESNT FILE MY TAXES UNTIL MONDAY MORNING.Oh and my return from using the CPA is the exact same that I got on my own. Except Im paying her 250 to do it and its taken like 3 months instead of 125 and 1.5 months. Im furious if you cant tell.Still haven't gotten my return. I understand it's in the government's hands now but I don't see how they could possibly make this right with me. I also don't think they will care to. Just use turbotax
