I have used Derrick at GF tax service for the past couple years. This year I had serious issues with filing taxes and Derrick basically told me to print them out and take care of it myself after them being rejected multiple times over the course of 6 months. I finally was able to submit them and received a letter from the IRS that the forms that were filed were incorrect and I have 15 days to correct. We are now going on 5 days where I have called Derrick almost every day on his cell and office line, emailed him 2x and texted him. No response. His wife even answered his personal cell phone to redirect me to the office line where he is ignoring my calls. I own my own business and could not imagine ever doing this to any client of mine. I do not believe all of these reviews at all and neither should you. Derrick is a cowardly child who does not know what he is doing and does not stand behind his work. He hides as soon as an issue arises and completely lacks professionalism and empathy. This is an honest review and I advise not using him because he will take your money and leave you in the dark with a mess! Invest in a more professional and knowledgeable tax preparer and stay far away from Derrick and this company.
