this firm carelessly disposed of federal tax reporting documents (1099 and W2's and others) without notice. i called to obtain them so I can file a return and they did not have nor explain their procedure for not sending a notice or disposal. Apparently they do not take their public trust and fiduciary responsibility seriously enough in care of information related to identity theft or safekeeping. I had a 15+ year relationship with them and come to find out that my information was not even at their office and when it was returned to them after the death of their owner, they disposed of without any formal notice or call.
