I have been using Mr. Rozzen for preparing my taxes for over 40 years and can say unequivocally how pleased and comforted I have been in that relationship. Mr Rozzen has always been available to answer questions, illuminate any concerns I had and basically continually guide my financial decisions in a warm and professional manner. I have referred many friends and acquaintances to him because of his friendly and calming demeanor. He's the best, I recommend him highly.

Dale Rozzen is a crooked, creepy and condescending. He seems to have no ethics at all or moral compass. It is amazing he hasn't been cancelled yet. If anyone deserves it, it is him. He would always be inappropriate with my wife, always tell her every time how good she smells, hug her for too long, and then makes inappropriate comments and telling dirty jokes. He'd also be condescending always - and criticize me for not knowing obscure tax laws. I put up with it for years. He seems to be in 1950 or so, and insists he does your tax return with you in real-time. Using his calculator. He doesn't know how to use a computer. Other accountants can email your return immediately. Not him. When I needed mine, he said he could print it for 50. He always encouraged us to break the law. As an independent contractor, I can write off business expenses - and business meals. He would always encourage us to like about these and to say there was more. I asked - but what if we get audited? He said he will always provide receipts for us if that happens. In other words - help us cheat and defraud the IRS! I don't think that is allowed, is it? But that didn't matter to him. No ethics at all. A fundament of accounting - when working with a married couple filing jointly - is that the accountant is honest with both spouses. An accountant cannot conspire with one against the other. Yet Dale Rozzen does exactly that. When my wife of 30 years told him she wanted to divorce me, but wanted the house all for herself, he helped her. They conspired together for several years. When I directly confronted him about it, he got insanely defensive and denied it like Richard Nixon. I was only her accountant. She told me his offer - if she paid for lunch, he would share his information with her on how to attempt to cheat a spouse. When I called, he lied, of course. He pretended to know NONE of the details - all of which he helped create - and lied so blazenly I just laughed. I said - Come on Dale - you expect me to believe this? Then he got super angry like Trump as if I had wronged him, and yelled, 'DO YOU KNOW EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED THIS LONG AGO? DO YOU?I said no. But THIS I remember of course. And it wasn't so long ago. And accountants do keep records, do they not? These days they all have computers even! Not Dale. That he was lying was confirmed within moments of hanging up. After telling me he had no connection to our divorce, didn't know anything about it at all - I got a call from my wife's attorney saying, Can you stop calling the accountant please? That's right - the guy who claimed to know nothing had her lawyer's phone number. The attorney was hired to represent my wife. Dale was hired to be the accountant of both of us - and for decades! When I called him immediately after finding out the horror of my wife's decision to try to scam me in this divorce, I needed copies of our tax returns, which would show the truth. He refused to help. Instead he got angry at ME for no longer going to his office and seeing him paw my wife and make dirty jokes - spend hours of our time with his calculator - while being snarky always. I told him I didn't go because there was no reason to. And I was sick of his creepy come-ons and dirty jokes. I would still get my taxes done. But he is not even a good accountant. After all that, he never did a good job, He is not in this century. Maybe even worse than his gross lechery and complete lack of ethics was the way he treated his female assistants. There was always a new one each year, as no one could stand him for long. He would scream at these poor women and treat them terribly. It was obvious he enjoyed doing this - and always in front of clients. That is sick and abusive. So unless you want a crooked, lecherous, condescending creepy cowardly old man who charges too much for being a terrible accountant and will lie to your face, you would be well advised to find a different accountant. ANY other one would be better.
