As founder of Cortes CPA, Dan focuses on satisfying clients need if the tax, accounting and other support services areas.

Dan began his career at a big 4 accounting firm where he focused on taxation of privately owned companies across a multitude of industries, individual taxation, estates, trusts and personal financial planning. Dan has been a CFO of multi-national companies and is experienced with managing accounting departments, growing businesses, their infrastructure needs and international expansion.

Dan is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. Dan volunteers his time in his community with the Boy Scouts of America and other local organizations. Dan has 4 children and enjoys spending time in the outdoors.
