Like Chad's review, I ended up with a late penalty after Walter claimed to have filed extensions. He then ghosted me and hasn't returned emails or phone calls. Honestly, I have had to chase him with a dozen or more calls/emails for many weeks on end to get my taxes done for several years. I should've learned the lesson the first time. This was the last straw.

I don't know what is up with Walter but since 2019 he has been full of lies, one after the other. I received notice from the IRS that my corporate return wasn't filed by March 15, 2018. For that they assessed a penalty of $650.00. Walter said not to pay it because he did file an extension and that he did file the return prior to 6/30/18. He promised to write them a letter to explain it all. In a phone call with the IRS on 9/14/23 they confirmed receipt of the return on 6/27/18 but that an extension had never been filed. So to avoid any further hassle with the IRS I paid the amount of $723.60 on 9/14/23 to make it go away.
I have copies of at least a dozen written requests either email or text message for Walter to send me a copy of my 2021 tax return. In addition there is probably at least 5 - 6 times I asked him in person and I always got an answer that he was busy at that moment but would email it within a couple hours. It was never received! And now I know why, yesterday the IRS agent told me that both my personal and Cooperate returns were never filed for 2021! So now I have to hire another CPA to file the late returns and wait to find out what the penalty amount would be!
If you want to do business with Walter you can never reach him. You have to send an email or text message and ask him to contact you and most times he'll just blow that off. If you call him he lets everything go to voice mail and most times you get a message that the mail box is full and you can't leave a message.
