Karen Stevenson is an excellent accountant CPA. We had used someone prior to her, and they made a mistake to our taxes we didn't know about until a year later. Karen fixed our previous return for us and has continued to provide excellent service for us for the past decade. She is thorough, diligent, precise, and approachable. She continues to keep herself updated on all current tax laws. She is quick to respond to questions at all times of the year as our finances fluctuate. I highly recommend her! Our four adult children are clients of Stevenson Tax firm.

It's pretty amazing how smoothly your tax return can go when you don't object to reasonable prices and have numbers that make sense because you understand basic tax forms. I'm also impressed how easily Karen managed my taxes when I paid her on time.
I would give Karen a HALF of a star if I could. Never have I witnessed such blatant unprofessionalism in a more embodied form than I have in indirectly working with Karen for our family tax filings. My Mom amp Dad got it the worst when she DENIED to file their taxes because they inquired about the final invoice. Nothing more amp nothing less. After weeks close to a month of doing the legwork, she decides to bow out of the filings because of a simple question posed by a PAYING customer. Id that doesnt steer you away I dont know what will.Regardless of her knowledge, Karens lack of responsiveness, customer service, and professionalism is nothing short of everything you DO NOT want in a business partner.Sorry you even wasted your time in considering her as a candidate for your tax filings!

Ian, we did not charge your parents for their tax returns, after investing considerable time and effort. We could not complete them because of questionable tax documents. We have to sign the tax return that it is "true and complete" per the IRS Tax Code, which we were not able to guarantee with the documents that were provided.
Karen Stevenson has been an outstanding accountant over the past few years. As an expat, I've had a wide variety of questions and concerns in filing taxes, and Karen has been unfailing in responding promptly and thoroughly. Extremely professional and meticulous, I recommend her unhesitatingly.
