The absolute worst hire in my 20 plus years as a business professionalowner. I found Lana the owner and sole individual at Tax Shark, to be lacking in experience, knowledge and a basic depth of understanding of the English language and how to effectively and efficiently communicate both verbally and in writing. This proved exhausting for both myself and my assigned auditor. I found her fees for service to be beyond exorbitant based on her knowledge base. My experience was one based on how much I could be fleeced for in the shortest period of time. And in the end I hired another firm and got the service, expertise and professionalism, I needed and deserved and at MUCH more reasonable fee. If you have a very basic tax return based on income such as basic retail or the local burger joint, this is likely a decent tax preparer option for you. Anything beyond that scope, save yourself the headache and torture and keep looking. Did I mention the cost for service was egregiously disproportionate? You've been warned. Do yourself a favor and scroll along. You will also note, their Yelp reviews have been flagged by Yelp itself as suspicious and likely fraudulent. So don't be fooled or dismayed by false glowing reviews.
