The government took money from our 2014 taxes 2009 tax debt. We should not have owed money for 2009, we were actually owed a refund. We dropped our tax information off with Richard Sr. in Steubenville in September of 2015. We were told that we would hear back in a couple of weeks. My husband calls inquire about our taxes every couple weeks until we went to have our 2015 taxes done with Richard Jr. in February 2016 in St. Clairsville. Richard Jr. apologized, said he would help to get the process underway, and let us know that we would not be charged because of the time and lack of communication during the process. On 5/24/2016 we stopped into the Steubenville office to finally pick up our taxes. We told the lady at the front why we were there, she found our information and proceeded to try to bill us $125. We refused and opted to talk with Richard Sr. the next day. Richard Sr. not only refused to stand by his son's offer, but also, refused my husbands offer of a compromise of $60.
