Saw Chris to do my taxes for 2016. I brought in every tax document, gas receipts, clothing receipts, Home repairs receipts, etc etc. I just bought a house last year so I figured I should hire a professional this tax season. But in the end he said I would only get back $300. Like huh ?! I worked TWO jobs for a year and all I'm getting back is $300????? I said to him "Something is not right here. Please don't file. I will do my own taxes again this year." and I walked out. Went home and did TurboTax. Paid $72 (which is cheaper than Chris) and I'm getting back $1320. That's a GRAND more than what Chris was going to get me. Save the trip and just do TurboTax. It's super easy to use and they walk you through it step by step. And it's def worth getting a grand extra :)
