Went to Magino to file my 2015, 2016 and 2017 taxes. He seemed Knowledgeable....then I received a letter from the IRS saying I was being audited. Submitted my paperwork for them only to respond that I now owe close to 10,000!!! Including late fees even tho I filed on time. I never even bothered to call him... I'm just done. expensive lesson learned.

In 2016 John Magino failed to file my business tax returns. He caught his mistake 1 year later when he was filing my 2017 taxes. He did not tell me he caught his mistake. Instead I received a penalty for 2,340 from the IRS. I checked the date my 2016 business tax were submitted and it was the same day I was sitting in his home office to file my 2017 taxes. He never said a word. When I confronted Magino about his negligence he said, It must have slipped my mind. He signed an agreement to make monthly payments for the penalty. Getting him to make the monthly payments is another horror story. I later learned in 2016 and 2017 the Comptroller of Maryland suspended Magino and Associates from processing electronic returns due to a high volume of questionable returns received. Maginos integrity and ethics are proven to be questionable.
