Hallmark Accounting issued a 1099 form on me in 2018. I was a w4 employee, taxes deducted from every paycheck, with no bonuses, commissions, etc. I tried to get her to rescind that 1099 a number of times. I filed all the appropriate paperwork with the IRS. I send Ms. Hallmark copies of everything and pleaded with her to make this right. Because Ms. Hallmark put forth no real effort to undo that erroneous 1099 that had no basis in facts, I am now faced with a tax levy for almost 700. I really, really hope you move on to another accounting firm. This one does not own their mistakes.
