We hired Gina Cummins in 2016 to help with our tax amendments new company I tired to do the books but made a few mistakes and she said she would fix it. We waited and heard nothing and we were paying her monthly to help us. IRS got in touch with us so I called her she came over and talked to them and told them it should have been taken care of before then and that she would take care of it here it is 2021 and I've paid her ever month and our taxes are still not right. There are so many broken promises that came from that company that we are having to close our company down. There is so much more that I could say but there is only 1 more thing DO DOT USE THEM JUST HEADS UP.

Gina Cummins did our taxes in 2018 and made a mathematical error by reversing some numbers. Two years later the IRS contacted us with and stated we owed money with a penalty fee. We tried to contact Gina to discuss our fee we paid her and the penalty fee. She wouldnt take our calls or return our calls. We also had a neighbor who had problems with their taxes when using her for their taxes. They, too, could not ever get in touch with her or receive return phone calls. If we could give 0s below, we would! Beware and stay clear of Gina Cummins!!!!

I hired Gina Cummins of Cummins Accounting Tax Service in April of 2019 to file an amended return, apply for an extension to prepare and file my return for the 2018 tax year. I was told this process would take 6 months so around month 5 I made numerous unsuccessful attempts to reach her by phone, email and stopping by the office which I often found unoccupied on days that were listed as working days on the office door and online. After a month of no contact I reached out to the IRS directly and just discovered that as of posting this review NO AMENDMENT has been made and NO EXTENSION has been filed for. Over 6 months later nothing has been done resulting in penaltys, attorney fees late filing fees. I urge anyone considering using this company visit their Better Business Bureau and read the complaints. Also at the time of this review Gina Cummins nor Cummins Accounting Tax Service are CERTIFIED Public Accountants and are NOT registered with the North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountant CPA Examiners. Anyone considering hiring an accountant should visit the North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountant CPA Examiners website so you do not have the same experience as me.
