My husband met Lane on the golf course. They got to talking about taxes and we ended up having Lane prepare our 2020 tax returns. Couldnt be more pleased. He took the time to discuss our return and answer all our questions. Very professional and knowlegible.

My mother, who was a client of Lane's for many years, passed away 8 months ago. My mother was a resident of Pennsylvania which is 1 of 7 states that impose an inheritance tax on assets of an estate. At the urging of other family members I initially had a Pennsylvania attorney handle the preparation of the PA Inheritance Tax Return for my mother's estate. To make a long story short, Lane later determined that the attorney listed assets of my mother's estate that should not have been included as taxable assets on the inheritance tax return. Lane agreed to prepare an amended return which saved my brothers and I more than $14,000 in inheritance tax. When I moved to Pennsylvania in 1994, I needed to find a tax accountant. Luckily, one of my friends recommended Lane, and he has been my tax accountant ever since. He is outstanding in every aspect of the job. I especially appreciate the fact that he is right on top of every change in the tax code each year and sends out memos explaining the changes to his clients well in advance of the change(s) taking effect. He has become my entire family's accountant, and I recommend him highly to anybody looking for a stellar accountant. He is 5-star because he gets the job done, and does it well.
