Friendly and gregarious, Larry is knowledgeable and stays current on tax law changes. But my opinion went south after he refused to admit he made an error that cost me an unnecessary penalty fee from my bank. My instruction was clear. But since he made the mistake, I expected reimbursement. Instead, Larry deflected accountability and blamed me for his error. That was deplorable customer service. Given the competitive market of tax preparation, I decided to find a professional who, if a mistake or misunderstanding is made, will admit and at least try to resolve the error. I considered going back for my 2016 tax returns, but my spouse persuaded me to look elsewhere.
