I feel sorry for this tax lady. A lot of the same people that get mad that it takes her awhile to do their taxes keep going back every year because they owe her money even some for several yrs. This is why they like going back because they never pay her. Yes I do agree she needs to have a more respected place that's not so cluttered but she never puts her pen down on doing taxes into the late night hours. If you don't like someone move on to H and R Block where you get charged an arm and a leg but don't degrade her work unless she has the IRS on her butt. She doesn't so it means she is doing something right.

Is a mess to deal with unprofessional has threatened my wife to not be allowed on her property. Took three years to get my 2016 and two years to get my 2017 taxes complete. Will not answer calls gets mad if you push her. Refuses to get your copies to you. leaves other clients tax papers out in the open. No room most of the time to even set down in her office. The office is a mess and very cluttered. Taxes on 2017 were incomplete. Have had to go to another tax paperer to get it all correct. Cannot believe her craziness. I will not return for any reason. She yelled at my oldest daughter when she went to get copies. I recommend no one uses her in the future.

Julie is probably the best tax preparer in SE Iowa. She is thorough, asks detailed questions to get you the most money back on your taxes. She charges you less than the big tax companies, and does a better job. The one downside is that because she is so thorough, it takes a little more time to get your taxes back. Don't go to Tax Time Time Made Easy if you want your return done the same day. But if you want the most back on your return, this is the place to go.

Once she gets all your tax documents, she'll sit on your taxes for months on end. She won't answer her phone, and won't return messages. Stop in and she makes promises to call you, but doesn't follow through. It shouldn't take months to file taxes electronically. This has happened two Yeats in a row. Will not be using her next year.
