Wednesday, August 9th, 2017 Larry "The Tax Man" Gurewitz is truly the cream of the crop. Weâ€™ve never encountered a tax professional and financial adviser quite like him. Larry has more than one office location where you can meet to conduct business. We meet at his Woodland Hills location, and quickly finding parking isnâ€™t ever an issue whatsoever. His office space is very nice, air-conditioned, clean, full of natural light, and carefully, skillfully decorated. Itâ€™s not like going to a noisy, crowded, and grungy pop-up H & R Block or Liberty Tax hole in the wall with kids running around and annoying music playing in the background. No, you can actually relax and feel comfortable and conduct business in Larryâ€™s office, a private office, not a cubicle. Not to mention that he is clearly more experienced, educated, and up-to-date on current changes in tax law. He really does know what heâ€™s talking about. Moreover, Larryâ€™s flexible when it comes to scheduling and even offers later office hours than many others working in the same field and who are not always as easy to work with if you have a busy schedule like both me and my spouse do. Larry prepared both our 2016 personal taxes and also our 2016 tax return for our newly formed limited liability company, of which both my spouse and I are also business partners and co-founders. We only had to meet once with Larry initially to discuss our needs, concerns, and to have him field our many questions, and there were many questions he willingly and thoughtfully answered. He takes time and doesnâ€™t make his clients feel rushed. My spouse and I were entering uncharted territory with our new business and it was a bit overwhelming, but with the help of Larry â€œThe Tax Man,â€ we were successfully able to navigate the rough waters. Larry is also great at quickly responding to both telephone messages and e-mails, even during non-business hours. When we felt the need to reach out to Larry, I donâ€™t believe either of us ever had to wait longer than a day to hear back. Truth be told, we often even heard back within the same day. Larry also utilizes a secure and encrypted portal to communicate with his clients. This makes scanning and uploading documents and forwarding them onto Larry a breeze, and itâ€™s safe because you know your sensitive information is being protected. Not to mention that the aforementioned online portal saved us a few trips running back and forth through L.A. traffic when we realized we had forgetting to give something to Larry in person or some new correspondence arrived from the I.R.S. or state that we needed to quickly bring to his attention. Long story short, go with Larry. You wonâ€™t regret it! Plus, his rates are more than reasonable, a fraction of the cost of his competitors. Thanks, Larry!
