Philip Garnett charged me 500 and basically did nothing. He got me to sign a Retainer Agreement for 500 and I signed it thinking he would chip away at it as he worked on my case. He sent me a letter that did not answer my most pressing question about the scam. And, he stated that they had fulfilled their obligation to me and charged me the whole 500.He did not answer the questions I had about the scam I was involved with. He did very little, if any, work to find my answers. When he did not satisfy my request, I had to go back to his office three times to get him to talk to me in person. And then, he was very short with me and dodged my direct questions until I forced him to tell me a very noncommittal answer. I was shaking so much from my high blood pressure over his lack of giving a damn, he asked if I was on drugs! Then he tells me he wont take the job of doing my taxes.When I asked the hourly rate, he said they dont charge by the hour. That allows him to take all of your money without explanation. This Is Fair Warning: Do Not Use His Services. It will be a waste of money.UPDATE!Mountain View CPAs answered my most pressing question immediately, and at NO CHARGE.Garnett gave me their card and recommended Mt View CPAs when he told me he wouldnt do my taxes.
