Did you know that the IRS has ruled that Qualified Medicaid Waiver payments are not taxable?

If you have been providing care in your home for an individual who would otherwise be institutionalized, you would have been issued a W-2 in the past and would have had to pay taxes on that income. However, because of this ruling you can amend prior year returns for a refund of the taxes paid on that income.
