If I could give a zero star I would. Believe or not this place came highly recommended. Unfortunately I have been filing taxes for over 20 years and had the worst experience. Believe or not this place came highly recommended. Unfortunately I have been filing taxes for over 20 years and had the worst experience. I don't know if it is because I wasn't from the area or what the issue was. But here are facts. I called and was requested to uploaded all my info on the app so i did. I received a call a few days prior to my appointment and the women stated they had to have my son's ID and a bill from my current address. No problem I uploaded it. Then I had a phone appointment. I waited 45 minutes never received a call. So I called. The lady answered the phone, stated they could not read my sons W2s. So I texted her the pictures. They would call me back. An hour later called me back and stated they could not read my W2s. I stated ok and sent them my W2s and a 1098T to state my son was in college. I stated ok. Now in my head I thought ok so now we are 2 hours past my appointment time. You called me two days prior and now we can't read anything I sent and need more information. But it is fine let's get this done. Also let me add when I was on the phone with two different people not only did they not communicate with each other, but stated several times well they were dealing with other people and with agitation stated they would call me back when they had time. Also stated she called yesterday but noone answered. I had some random appt. I looked no missed calls or any calls from Texas. So finally 3 hours after my appointment time. Veronica called and stated she still needed my son's w2. I stated I had sent them to her co worker. She first stated her coworker did not get them. Then I stated ok she stated thank you. Then Veronica stated well I can't get them can I send them again with agitation. I said thay was fine. I had commented I would of text or sent documentation all at the same time a few days ago if I would of known there was an issue. Veronica said you don't have to talk to me with that attitude. I was silent for a minute and I hung up with some chosen words. I believe the issue is miscommunication with coworkers and limited to no organization. Why would I want anyone filing my taxes that runs a business like this. Please don't go there or don't recommend this place.

She knows what she doing , I've been doing my taxes with MS. Briones past 10 years when she started. I'm a very satisfied customer never had any problems with her services. Keep up the excellent customer service and good work . Still sending her more referrals every year.

I IMPLORE ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS WITH VERIONCA BIONES TO READ THIS REVIEW: When I first heard about Veronica and her office I was under the impression she was a professional and knowledgeable in her line of work. At the time I needed to fix a mistake on my taxes and she advised we amend the forms and review the forms. Now that may seem like she had my best interest at hand, Veronica did more than add my missed income. She gave me a copy of my W2 with the correct info but submitted to the IRS an altered form that had even more wages. Unaware of this in 2014, I came back to her in 2015 tax season and paid an extra "fee" to have her deal with any and all letters directed to me from the IRS regarding my taxes. Luckily, I received a letter in the mail explaining to me the issues from both end of year taxes done by VERONICA BRIONES. Veronica conveniently went on "vacation" around the time I was dealing with this mess and now I don't know what to do or how to approach this issue. on top of all that, when I called her office to discuss the issue before she left she was rude short and hung up on me to avoid cooperating with me. She neglected to present me with copies of the work she submitted this past 2015 year (even after several requests) and hasn't returned my calls and seems to be otherwise unreachable. In conclusion, VERONICA BIONES has been deceitful, unethical, uncooperative and surprisingly unprofessional considering she was overwhelmingly the polar opposite when I first walked in her office to do business. I now know to NOT trust a smaller firm like this in the future and encourage anyone who is examining this review to pay that extra to a known tax preparer ex. H&R Block, Liberty Mutual, Jackson Hewitt etc. to ensure you are treated with dignity and the upmost respect through the ENTIRE process; not just after they make the commission.
