I used Fowler Tax for several years and was hoping for expert advice, attention, and future planning. I was disappointed. It's the same as if you input your information into a cheaper tax software yourself. My CPA had to wait for her the owner, Barry, to answer any unusual questions and he would take a long time to respond and then really didn't take the time to review my information and give me a quality response. I didn't think my questions were unusual for the price I paid for my tax returns. Again, just highly disappointed and do not recommend at all.
Ive used Peggy Price with FOWLER TAX to prepare my taxes the past 8 years. While my tax preparation is basic, I am treated as a valued client and we have developed a friendly relationship over the years. Its always good to catch up, but even better to walk out in a short time with the peace of mind that comes with knowing your taxes are completed, submitted and correct. FOWLER TAX staff are friendly and competent and I receive monthly updates of changes that may impact my savings goals from Barry. Ive recommended Peggy with Fowler Tax to friends and all are just as pleased.

Fowler Tax Service makes it too difficult to get copies of your documents

We try to make it easy as possible and provide copies of your return or a pdf copy at the time of tax preparation. For additional copies we do charge a fee to cover cost as we do have to spend time to verify we are providing a copy that has all pages that are needed.
Been with Barry for 16 years. Great service, very friendly staff.
My regular CPA moved to San Antonio, leaving me to find one locally. Fortunately my business partner knew of Barry and Fowler Business Services was just a few miles away. I met with Barry and Albert, felt very comfortable with them and the rest is history. His team is very responsive and thorough to say the least. My only wish is that I would have found him 10 years ago. So, if you're looking, look no further. These guys will take care of you!
