Mr. Shelby has been our tax guy for a very long time. My husband and I have always done our taxes with him. Everything has been upfront we know what to expect with payments and everything he does a lot for us. He’s trustworthy he did my income tax from North Carolina to Pennsylvania to Maryland because we’ve been with him that long nothing has ever been wrong. His receptionist has been with him a long time she has given me all the information I needed has called me and made sure that I got the information that I was supposed to get through the mail . I have sent lots of people to them, and I will continue to go to him till he retires.

Why would you send this to me? You didn't do my taxes this year because your so called "receptionist" was anything but professional or helpful. And you didn't return my call when I wanted to discuss the situation.

I have enjoyed and valued many years of service provided by Michael. He has added a number of pre-meeting organizational tools to ensure key questions are addressed amp the tax preparation process is efficient. Always enjoyed having the opportunity to get my questions addressed at our annual meeting. The pandemic changed the in-person meeting process out of necessity. This year I learned that tax preparation will no longer be done one on one. That decision makes sense unless there are complexities or major changes. My problem is the lack of communication prior to tax season regarding such changes. I had an annual appointment scheduled but it did not occur when I expected it to occur as scheduled. Customers deserve to be informed of operational changes and be advised as to how to get their questions answered as part of the annual tax review process since we pay for both guidance and tax preparation.

When I have a need to know the facts and approximate actions to take well I consult with the Annapolis Office of Michael Shelby to schedule a consultation with Michael if the inquiry can not be answered by his assistant, that also determines needs and schedules his appointments. I always get resolution to our needs do not delay your relief action , procrastination -RClemens
