Horrible. If I could end this review with one word horrible would sum it up perfectly. I've had my taxes done by them the last three years and have felt overcharged every single time. He even tried to charge me 3x the amount in the 2nd year even though my business barely had any activity that year. I should have ran for the hills when I objected and he asked what I wanted to be charged.nbsp How is it that his business doesn't have a fair pricing method? Or was he simply trying to charge as much as possible to see if I would blindly get robbed? I really don't know what the deal was there but he was referred by someone we knew so I let it slide after coming to an agreement on a price that was still comparatively high based on what I was used to. In Year 3 he raised his price again and then made a mistake resulting in the need for an amended return. In our last exchange he refused to acknowledge the fact that his error cost me time and money. First, I wasted time fighting over how much I was being charged a year ago when he tried to sleazily overcharge me for business taxes on a business that barely had any activity. I also wasted time and money this year printing the amended return and shipping it out. I'm still wasting time periodically searching on the IRS site for an update on my refund. Lastly, I wasted time sending him emails to be greeted with horrible customer service and a refusal of accountability. Not once did this man apologize for the mistake he made or recognize his error. He simply contacted me to let me know that an issue came up due to Covid and that he had to redo the return. Four months later I emailed him to ask for an update and was told to be patient even though I never berated him for making a mistake when it first came up. I never lost my patience. However, there's ways of communicating to a customer who pays you hundreds of dollars to do something. As a professional when you mess up the least you can do is apologize and hold yourself accountable. Apparently good customer service is beneath Mike. After refusing to recognize the fact that he cost me time and money he childishly stated that he was very pleased to lose my wife and I as customers. I'm surprised someone so unprofessional is even in business. What a joke.

I have had the great pleasure of knowing Michael J. Bodah for many years and met him when he managed all our needs an a Law Office I was employed at. He has worked personally on our taxes as well as family members and friends and every one is very pleased with his work and extreme knowledge and his communication skills are exemplary, especially when one doesn't understand the TAX LAWS and he is sympathetic and compassionate about his work. I have recommended him and will continue to do so. We feel safe with him.
