We were charged 3592 to prepare my father's estate's taxes. When I noted that some of the fees seemed high, Mr. Crona blamed the software and all the time it takes to input information and to delete the diagnostics. For example, 5 K-1s that were identical except for the recipient cost 481. Filing a state tax return showing 0 income and 0 taxes cost 145.
