Patrick Murphy, CPA is a Southern California native, born in Los Angeles and raised in Gardena. He attended Junipero Serra High School and graduated from California State University, Long Beach. In college he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Society as he studied accounting.

After college he worked for Arthur Anderson for 2 years before starting the Murphy team in 1980 with his twin brother, Mike. He enjoys being a partner at MMM because it’s a “great company of great individuals who share in the same purpose of helping people have better lives and have fun.” Pat hopes to continue growing and enriching MMM and its clients, family and friends and find “purpose and humor” in it.

He is very active outside of MMM, being involved with such groups as Christian Family Retreat, The Haynes Fund, Leadership Long Beach, Los Cerritos Rancho, Clara Barton Elementary School and Saints Simon and Jude Church
